The first event will be held Wednesday, October 3, 5:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Watch the presidential debate on domestic policy and join a post-debate discussion led by Dr. Robert Denhardt, Senior Fellow at the Price School.

Would you like to share your AmeriCorps experience with new AmeriCorps Team Leaders? Do you like to role play? Join NCCC for a morning to assist with their Team Leader training. For more information and to sign up to volunteer, please contact Debbie Creamer at [email protected] or (916) 640-0326.
KaBOOM! Playground Build Day (Saturday, October 6)
Help build a KaBOOM! Playground in one day!! This project is a partnership with KaBOOM!, PG&E and The Salvation Army to bring a safe, fun play space to the children at the recently opened E. Claire Raley Transitional Living Center.

Save-the-date for this opportunity to volunteer, run or walk the "Run to Feed the Hungry" event sponsored by the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services. More details will be provided in a few weeks.

Governing Magazine is holding a "free of charge" California Leadership Forum" in Sacramento on October 3 at the Sheraton Hotel.
